Loreal clay masks… hit or miss?!
Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe, iv finally got around to trying the loreal clay masks that iv been seeing a lot, I love a clay mask and these are an affordable option, I do use loreal skincare products I love their hydrating moisturizer so I was excited to give these a try.
There are 5 masks to choose from that treat different skin issues and they can be used together. I tried four of them, the glow mask, detox and brightening mask, purity mask, and blemish rescue mask.
Detoxifying brigthening mask – for dull & dry areas link the chin
Purify magnify mask- for oily or shiney areas like the T zone
Exfoliate and smooth mask- for rough areas like the cheeks
Blemish rescue mask uncloges pores & blackheads and clears imperfection leaving skin feeling clear and smooth.
As you can see from the diagram each mask targets different areas. you don’t have to use them this way, you can use them individually, do what’s best for your skin, I’ll be honest I only used them once because I came upon one big problem for me as soon as I opened the jars. They are heavily scented, they smell like someone dumped a bottle of perfume in there and they all smell that same. I was very hesitant to even use it, if you have sensitive or problem skin you know that added fragrance can cause irritation. I did use them only once and thankfully I didn’t have a reaction, Were the results from the mask that amazing that I would risk using it again the answer is NO.
I was really disappointed with these products for that reason, they boast about being pure, natural & detoxifying & then they add so much fragrance it defeats the purpose.
I didn’t have a reaction but if I continue to use it I think I would, I know my skin so I won’t use them again and if you have sensitive skin I would not recommend using them.
