ASAP SKINCARE REVIEW

Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe, I’m 2 months into a full lockdown here in Ireland and it’s been a struggle, the cabin fever & anxiety is off and on I’m sure there’s a lot of people feeling the same way it’s hard to be motivated when there doesn’t seem to be an end in sight but despite all that I’m really trying to get things done, iv been wanting to write this post for a few months now, I found a new skincare brand iv been really loving that I want to share with you.

I found the brand ASAP Skincare online, they’re an Australian brand that has a distribution center in Ireland so really fast delivery service, I feel like it’s a higher-end brand/ product without the massive price tag. another thing I love about the brand is you can purchase samples of a lot of their products to try them out which is what I love I feel more brands should do this. They do a range of face and body skincare iv been using four of their products consistently for a few months and I really love how my skin looks. I’m going to go through each product below.

Daily facial cleanser with AHA ( CLEANSE + REFINE)

This is an oil-free gentle cleanser that contains AHAs to loosen and remove dead skin cells, leaves your skin feeling fresh and smooth. I love to use this on alternative days, my usual cleansers are for acne-prone skin so there quite harsh and can really dry out your skin, I found it helps to use a gentler cleanser in the week that makes my skin feel clean & fresh without drying my skin out. it’s a gentler version of the cleansers I use for acne-prone skin.

Daily exfoliating facial scrub with AHAs (Exfoliate & renew)

I’ve mentioned this product in a previous post on facial scrubs, iv tried many (I’ll link that post below), this formula improves the texture of the skin, removing dead skin cells without causing irritation, ill use this once maybe twice a week, it gives me that deep clean feeling without stripping or irritating my skin or causing breakouts.

Anti Ageing Night Cream with AHAs ( Replenish & refine)

Iv been testing new night moisturizers for months, this is one of many, it’s hard to choose because each has there pros/cons, what I do love about this night moisturizer is how hydrating it is, my biggest problem is when I wake up in the morning my skin feels really dry like iv been sleeping outside in the cold! that kind of dryness. when I wear this before bed my skin feels hydrated and moisturized when I wake up I feel like it’s done its job while I slept!! it also stimulated collagen & has antioxidants that help protect & restore skin. It’s not recommended for congested or acne-prone skin. now for me, my skin is really good at the moment and I use a dermatologist-recommended cleanser most of the time so I haven’t had any breakouts from it so far so fingers crossed it stays that way. I’ll keep you posted.

CC Correcting Cream spf15 With antioxidants ( Hydrate & protect)

Now iv never used a tinted moisturizer or SPF before, I have tried a few in the past but I felt they were always too dark for my complexion and made my face look dirty to me, there was never the right shade & they always felt more greasy then moisturizing so I avoided them but since I was so happy with the other products I had tried from this brand so far I decided to just give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised, I found it very moisturizing, not greasy and the tint was very subtle and gives more of a natural glow to my skin it evens out the skin tone and covers up any redness. it’s my new no-makeup makeup look and I love it.

So overall I’m really happy I stumbled upon this brand, its a great price point, I love that you can purchase samples before committing, fast delivery & shipping, The products I’ve tried so far have worked well on my skin type, they have a range of serums I’m excited to try to. Compared to some of the other higher-end skincare products that have cost me a fortune in the past, these products are worth the price tag and in my option, and iv saw better results after using them consistently than some higher-end skincare iv have tried recently.

Thank you for checking out my blog I really appreciate it and I hope you’re enjoying the content, leave me comments and let me know what you think. if you would like blog updates please subscribe. xx Paula
