Is Estee Lauder skincare worth the price tag??

IMG_9505

Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is staying safe and having a great week, as you can tell from the title iv been trying some new skincare products but are they worth the price tag that’s the question. So Estee Lauder as you may no is a higher-end brand their double wear foundation is amazing, I’ll link that post below.

I actually stumbling upon the skincare range when I was picking up my double wear foundation and I was given some samples, I don’t experiment too much with skincare stuff because I’m prone to breakouts but I decided to give it a go. I was gifted the advanced night repair serum samples which I loved that’s what made me look closer at there range.

So because their products are quite expensive I decided to buy the travel size, I didnt want to spend a fortune on something I’m not sure if my skin will react well to, it would be a waste of money. So I bought 8 products to try of the 8 there are two that I have repurchased that I really loved, they others were great but not worth the price. I’ll go through everything and explain it.

First the serums!! I love the advanced night repair serum, I wear this under my moisturizer day and night I really love how it hydrates my skin I see the difference in my skin it feels smoother and looks brighter, there’s a noticeable difference so I will continue to use this. Next, the Idealist pore minimizing skin refinisher, I didn’t love this I didn’t see a huge difference in my complexion for the price I didnt feel it was worth it, it’s supposed to reduce the size of your pores I didnt see a massive difference.

tried the day wear and nightwear plus moisturizers, I have nothing negative to say about these, there luxurious their hydrating I loved them both I loved how my skin looked and felt but I couldn’t help to compare them to others, for the price point €40- 50 euros, olay have a range of moisturizes the cost between €20- 30 euros that I found to be just as good.

The daywear eye gel was a no from me I didnt see a huge difference to my eyes and I do use a look of golden collagen eye masks that aren’t really expensive but I get great results, for me the price of the eye gel just wasn’t worth it.

tried three of the Estee lauder cleansers, the flash facial exfoliator is my new favorite product, I would definitely recommend this, its a deep clean exfoliate, my skin feels smooth looks brighter, my pore look visible reduced, also a little goes a long way, I only use this twice a week it’s definitely worth the price tag for me.

The other two I tried were the perfectly clean multi-action cleanser and the advanced night micro cleansing foam, both these products worked really well for me but for the price point I know I have used nip fab cleansers that are very similar and cheaper so for me I wouldn’t spend that money again.

So to wrap things up the advance night repair and the facial exfoliator were everything for me, well worth the price I will be buying them again. For the other products although I liked most of them I could find the same quality for a cheaper price with a different brand. For me, it’s not about the label on the bottle but the quality of the product that I look for that’s how I feel. My advice would always be if you’re trying the higher-end products for the first time purchase sample size or travel size where you can so if it’s not for you at lease you haven’t lost a lot of money on it.

Thank you so much for checking out my blog I really appreciate it and I hope you’re enjoying the content, please leave me comments and let me know what you think if you would like blog updates please subscribe. xx Paula xx
