Results!! ( Cancer Free!)

Hi all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is staying safe and had a great weekend, I IMG_9505just wanted to give you a quick update to finish this chapter of my story, my results came in a few weeks ago so if you follow me on my social media you’ll already know, I just haven’t gotten around to writing this post, iv just been letting it sink in.

So basically my surgeon took some tissue samples from the area where my tumor was removed and from my left ovary to make sure the cancer wasn’t there or hadn’t spread to the other side and thankfully they came back “NED”- No Evidence of Disease, which is a huge relieve for me and my family. Obviously, I have a post-cancer plan which includes regular scans and checkups, I have a lovely nurse that I can talk to if I feel or see any changes in my body so I don’t need to worry.

Its been a long 7 months, but I do feel like staying positive and not dwelling on the situation I couldn’t change or feeling sorry for myself has really help me get through it mentally. When your physical health is out of your hands you have to look after your mental health.

Iv said it before, cancer is a blessing in many ways and iv spoken with other people who have been in my situation that feel the same way, it makes you look at life in a completely different way. Priorities change. The time you spend making memories with family and friends is more important than anything material in this world. Life is short, show compassion, forgive, forget, and be kind cause everyone’s going through something.

Thank you so much for checking out my blog and following my journey I really appreciate it.
