My Fitness Journey…

Hi all, welcome back to my blog, I hope everyone is having a great week. I’ve wanted to write this piece for a while, I have gotten messages and DMs asking me to, I document it on my Instagram! So this is a little bit about my fitness journey. It’s only been in the last 2 years that I’ve gotten a handle on what really works for me. I’ll add some pictures of my progress too.

Iv always been obsessed with how my body looks, exercise and food but it was in a very unhealthy way I feel and I never saw the result I wanted and never felt good because I was overdoing it and depriving my body of the nutrients it needed because I was starving myself and the little I consumed just wasn’t good for me.

I found a healthy balance since I started wrestling training, my aim was different I wanted to get stronger and healthier. Now I do cardio to build stamina rather that too burn off calories, I used to avoid heavy lifting because I felt I would get bigger, now I lift to get stronger. It’s something I enjoy now. My body has changed its a lot stronger and I’m a lot more comfortable in my skin,

This biggest change is definitely how I eat!! I eat a lot more than I ever have I feel, I used to try to avoid all carbs eat as little as possible, that would last for a few days , then I would have that one day were I would have to eat cause id be that starving i would be weak. but Id go back to depriving myself the following day!! It’s a vicious circle!! Now I love to meal prep!! my lunch and dinner, I eat clean fresh foods nothing processed, make sure I get enough calories,I eat a lot of fresh vegetables, clean protein and make sure i get the good carbs into my body which is important. I’m never hungry! It feels so much better eating clean foods rather than processed. I always have a cheat day as you know I have my sweet Sundays that’s my cheat day. My relationship with food has gotten a lot healthier.

I like to workout every day! I’ll do something every day just because I enjoy it, I feel better after, I try and get a run in every day that something iv always loved to do, on days I don’t get to the GYM my at home go to is my “sweat deck” app on my phone. The deck of cards workout, 52 exercises! I love this!! I’d would definitely recommend it!! I don’t weight myself, I prefer to go by how I feel rather than what the scales say I’m sure I weight more than previous because I’m gaining muscle but I’m a lot happier in my skin and that’s all that matters to me. I think that’s my biggest achievement!! not worrying about what the scales say!!

Thank you so much for checking out my blog I really appreciate it and I hope you’re enjoying the content, leave me comments and let me know what you think.
