Healthy Twix bars!!

Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. It’s been a while since I’ve done a healthy baking post but I do have some great guilt-free recipes to share that I think you will love that are sugar-free. The recipe I’ve been using weekly it’s my mid-week guilt-free treat with a cup of tea when I’m craving something sweet or just having a chocolate craving. Who doesn’t love a Twix bar? Well I’ve found the most amazing healthy Twix bar recipe that is a perfect substitute for a Twix when you’re trying to eat clean or cut out sugar

It’s a super easy recipe to follow I’m going to go through the ingredients and how-to’s below I hope you enjoy it and give it a try yourself. I’ll also link the youtube video below so you can watch me make them if you want to check that out.

All You Need:

  • ½ cup oats ( blended into flour)
  • 4 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil ( melted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 8 dates chopped ( blended )
  • 20g sugar-free chocolate (melted)

Start by lining a small square baking tin with baking paper and set aside

In a medium bowl mix together the blended oats, coconut oil, maple syrup and vanilla. mix till the resemble crumble. This is your biscuit base.

Use a spoon or your fingers to spread the crumble evenly on the bottom of your baking tin.

Spoon the blended dates over the biscuit base and smooth them evenly with a spoon. next, pour your melted chocolate on top and spread it evenly. Place into the fridge to set for about 1½ hours. Then slice into bars to serve.
