Botanical labs Turmeric clay mask- must have affordable clay mask!!
Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe, here in Ireland we’re getting back to some normality fingers crossed it stays that way, with everything closed I was trying some skincare from the grocery store which I don’t usually do, not that I don’t think they’re good I just go to drugstores were there is more variety but for the last few months, its been DIY skincare or the few options I could find in the grocery store that I felt wouldn’t irritate my skin.
I came across the Botanical lab’s skincare range, they have treatments, cleansers, and moistures but what caught my eye was the turmeric blemish control mask, I really wanted to try it because iv been making my own turmeric masks and they’re amazing. this clay mask is just €8.
It’s a thick creamy mask the applies evenly, you apply a thin layer to the face and leave for 15 minutes then rinse with warm water. This mask gently exfoliates, removes debris and impurities, unclogs pores, removes excess oils without over-drying, leaving the skin smooth, and keeps outbreaks at bay.
It contains turmeric, indian clay/ kaolin and witch hazel to help tone the skin.
I would highly recommend this mask if you suffer from breakouts or hyperpigmentation/ scarring from breakouts, I found it really deep cleans and calmed my skin down, reduced the redness in the areas I had a breakout. I also noticed my skin was brighter and glowing after. I was really surprised how well it performed in comparison to the more expensive high-end brands, it just shows that just because something is more expensive doesn’t mean it’s going to be a good product.
