Better Brownies!!
Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe, it another healthy baking moment!! I’ve spend more time in the kitchen in this lockdown than iv ever been and it keeps me sane!! I love brownies I have a walnut brownie recipe that’s my go-to recipe I could make them in my sleep there’s nothing like them ill link the recipe below, but I really wanted to find a healthier version, and iv tried many that are ok but the recipe that I found that I’m gonna sharing today is as close to the original iv ever come. I’ve replaced the flour & white sugar and they still taste amazing your gonna love them, you’ll be able to give them to your kids and they won’t notice the difference!!
It’s a simple recipe, really easy to prep, I’m going to go through the ingredients and how-tos below, ill also links the how-to video that’s up on my youtube channel if you want to check it out. I hope you enjoy and try them yourself.
ALL YOU NEED:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 cup coconut sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup sugar free chocolate chips
Start by preheating your oven to 170℃ and line your brownie tray with baking paper.
In a large bowl mix together the almond flour, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, coconut oil, vanilla, salt, and baking soda till combined.
Fold in the sugar-free chocolate chips and spoon the batter into your baking tray. Bake in the oven @ 170℃ for 25 minutes till an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
