New catrice clean|ID Hydro BB Cream- hit or miss!?ðŸ¤
Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe, I’m still struggling through lockdown here in Ireland, I know a lot of people are in the same boat as me but the good news is a lot of products that I have ordered have arrived! I’m trying a mixture of high-end and drugstore products to compare and see what’s worth it and what’s not and it has been very interesting, what I’m finding a lot is your paying for a brand name and expensive packaging!! I want to start with bb/cc creams I personally prefer a cc cream but I really wanted to try something new. if you don’t know a cc cream is color correct and a fuller coverage tinted SPF was a bb cream is just a tinted moisturizer, a cc cream is better for my acne pro skin type.
Today I’m going to be reviewing the Catrice cosmetics clean|ID hydro bb cream, now I love the brand Catrice I use their foundation and setting spray they have amazing products I’ve reviewed them before, I’ll link the posts below, there are some cons with this brand iv also spoke about which is the lace of shade range in foundations there are only around 4 shades and there for a lighter skin tone so not inclusive at all. It’s something I do hope they will address in the future I’m not the only one that’s spoken about it.
Today I want to focus on this new bb cream, know it might not be a new thing for some of you but you can’t get this in Ireland so it’s new for me. I was really disappointed with the product the formula just didn’t work for me, I had already moistured my face before applying and I applied it like I would a moisturizer but it just sat on my skin really patchy looking, and the more I tried to blend it in it started to peel off, the formula just didn’t work for me. It’s described as a tinted beauty balm with shea butter.
To sum it up it’s a thumbs down for me, the formula just didn’t work for me and I wouldn’t recommend it. It didn’t apply well to the skin at all what didn’t peel off when I was trying to blend it in I had to wash off. It was just a no-go for me, Catrice has a lot of products that i rave about but this is not one of them, if I were you I would save your money!
