Top 5 recommended foundations!!
Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is staying safe and having a great week. I haven’t done one of these “list” posts in a while so iv put together a few with all my beauty favorites the iv been trying over the years. I’m starting with foundations, iv reviewed a lot of foundations on here I will link them below, I’m always intrigued by the promises of airbrushed flawless skin that they all swear to in there advertising. which is why I love to try them out, very few live up to the hype to be fair it’s impossible but some have come close and these are the 5 I love and have repurchased, their ones I feel are the best quality, worth the money and work well on my skin. They’re not listed in a particular order there all just my favorites.
Catrice cosmetics- All matte Plus Camouflage effect
Iv been using this foundation for a few years, it’s a really affordable foundation, its medium to full buildable coverage, I use the shade 010 light beige, the only drawback with this brand is the limited shade range I think there is only 4-5 shade. It’s long-lasting, applies evenly to the skin, and gives you a nice even complexion. A big plus with all the foundations I’m going to talk about is that it doesn’t oxidize after it sets on your face.
Wet n Wild- photo focus foundation
This is another really affordable foundation that’s medium coverage, its lightweight, and gives a really natural look, this is one I would wear during the day that gives me that glowy no-makeup makeup look, it’s so natural and moisturizing.
Elf- Flawless satin foundation
This is a more full coverage foundation, it’s a creamy lightweight formula also it smells amazing it reminds me of my nana! It blends evenly on the skin doesn’t oxidize on the skin and it a really affordable full coverage foundation.
Max Faxtor- Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 foundation & serum
This full-coverage foundation has serum in it that leaves your skin looking glowy and really hydrated I love how it looks on my skin, unfortunately, it has been discontinued but I really love it and I still have a bottle I use, I’m secretly hoping the more people talk about it maybe max factor will reconsider and bring it back!!
Estee Lauder- Double Wear foundation
This a higher-end brand but I do feel it’s worth the price tag, it’s full coverage I have used this for a few years, It’s a full coverage foundation that’s long-lasting, it doesn’t crease, it’s a lightweight formula, a little goes a long way.
