Healthy baking- brownies!!

IMG_9505Hi all, welcome back to my blog, I hope everyone is having a great week. I’m back with some healthy mid-week treat ideas!! Iv been looking for some good healthy brownie recipes for a why’ll now and came across some great recipes. I’ve really been trying to use this healthy baking series to have healthy substitutes for my favorite treats. It’s a whole new way or baking that I’m really enjoying. I get to be creative and learn a healthier way to do things. These brownies are amazing!! there dairy free, gluten free, paleo brownies! I have to say they’re just as nice as regular brownies just with much better & healthier ingredients!! It’s a simple recipe to follow, I’m going to go through the ingredients and how-tos below, I hope you enjoy this one and give it a try its the perfect guilt-free treat!!

All You Need:

  • 120g dark chocolate
  • ¼ cup coconut oil ( soft)
  • 3 eggs
  •  ¾ cups coconut sugar
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips

Start by preheating your oven to 180 ℃ and prepare your brownie tray with baking paper and set aside.

In a small bowl add the chocolate and coconut oil, place in the microwave till melted and set aside. In a medium bowl beat together the eggs and sugar till pale and fluffy, next add in the chocolate mixture slowly and beat on low speed till combined.

Sift the flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the wet mixture and stir till well combined. fold in the chocolate chips. pour the batter into the brownie tray and bake for 25 minutes till toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs. Leave to cool before cutting up and serving.
