Clean Healthy Baking- Almond butter oatmeal cookies

Hi all, welcome back to my blog, I hope everyone is having a great week. I spent some time last week trying out some new healthy recipes, I found one that I really love!! I was craving oat biscuits for some reason last week, every time I had a cup of tea! so I went looking for some healthier options and found this recipe for almond butter oatmeal cookies!! these are amazing and really healthy! This recipe is pretty straight forward to there are just 5 ingredients, it doesn’t take long to prepare and bake. If you’re trying to eat well and are finding it hard to ignore that sweet craving you will love this recipe. I’m going to go through what you need and the how-to below, I hope you enjoy and give this one a try yourself.


All You Need:

  • ½ cup Almond butter
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 1½ cups oats
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar

Start by preheating your oven to 175℃ and prepare your cookie trays with baking paper.

In a medium bowl mix together the almond butter, maple syrup, egg, and coconut sugar till combined.

Next, add the oats and stir well till combined, Take a tablespoon amount of the cookie mix roll into a ball and place on your baking tray then pate down with a fork, do this with the remainder of the cookie dough. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes till golden in color.

Leave to cool on a wire rack before serving.
