Hi all, welcome back to my blog iv been writing and putting things together about mental health and wellbeing.its something I’m very passionate about, the more I experience and learn  I feel stronger and more positive, it’s important to take your experiences, them bums in the road to learn and grow. I’m a strong badass woman who doesn’t stay down and this is why. I wanna share what makes the biggest impact on my life and that’s EXERCISE!!

My exercise routines would probably be considered by some people as over the top I feel, like maybe I’m a little obsessed with it… which may be true. when you feel the benefits of it not just physically you incorporate it as much as you can in your life.

Its a big part of my day every day, I try to fit in a few different workout sessions into my day around my schedule, whenever I have the spare bit of time to switch off and focus. If that means I have to get up before the sun comes up to fit in my morning run on the beach then that’s exactly what I do.I don’t see it as a task or something I have to do but dread. It keeps me not just physically healthy but mentally too.

For me getting up in the morning and going for a run before I start my day is the best thing for me.It wakes me up, boosts my energy levels, helps me clear my head and focus. It put me in a really positive head space for the day.whether I’m listening to my music or the ocean beside me I love pushing my body every day it benefits me on so many different levels.

I’ll always throw a few workouts into my day when I can fit it in, whether it’s working with weights or doing matt work, the intense concentration on your body is a mindful thing.

Your body and mind are linked if your body feels good and strong, so will your mind.

In the last two years iv been obsessed with hot yoga.Hot yoga is suitable for everyone, you don’t have to have any experience. It consists of around 26 poses down twice for around 60 minutes in 40-50 degrees heat. Its an amazing workout for your body you will feel it the next day, if you take the class in the evening like I try to you will have a great night sleep!lol. It’s great for your core and balance and it’s extremely relaxing and calming. the best way to de-stress and unwind for me.you can just zone out and focus on your body, movement, and breathing.i would highly recommend it.

So these are some of the things that I love to make time for in my day for my own wellbeing, Exercise is key!! xx
