Sweet Sunday!! Chocolate chip cookies!

Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is having a great weekend! It’s sweet Sunday time again!! I’ve gone a bit healthier this week with this recipe even tho its sweet Sunday i made these not too long ago and they’re amazing so I wanted to share, these are my treat this week.

This week I made chocolate chip cookies, I think i’v put up a recipe for chocolate chip cookies before but these are different! There healthier and I’m using almond flour which iv been loving recently, iv been using it as a sub for regular flour. It’s a simple straight forward recipe, anyone can do this so give it a go and I hope you enjoy!!


All You Need:

  • 2 cups Almond flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil ( solid)
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips

Start by preheating your oven to 175 ℃ and link your cookie trays with baking paper.

In a medium bowl add the coconut oil and maple syrup, next place it in the microwave for a few seconds till the coconut oil softens.mix together till combined.

Add in the egg and vanilla to the mixture and whisk again till combined next add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the wet mix and stir with a wooden spoon till combined. Last, add in the chocolate chips and stir.

Spoon a tablespoon amount of the cookie mixture on to your cookie trays and pate down with a fork, do this with the remainder of the mixture. Bake in the oven for 8-9 minutes till golden brown in color.

Leave to cool on a wire rack before serving.
