Clean healthy baking: cranberry & chocolate chip cookies
Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is having a great week! I’m back with my clean health baking series!! I’m going to be adding a lot more to this with it being Christmas season and I do a lot of baking this time of year so ill be adding to this and to my sweet Sunday series. I love this time of year I’m around my family a lot more and I love to bake for them. I really love this recipe for cranberry and chocolate chip cookies there healthy and they keep my sweet tooth at bay until my cheat day 🙂 So I’m going to go through the ingredients and the how to’s below, I really hope you enjoy this recipe and get it a try yourself!!
All You Need:
- 1 cup oats
- ¾ cups whole wheat flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup fresh chopped cranberries
- 3 tbsp dark chocolate chips
Start by preheating your oven to 180℃ and prepare your baking trays with baking paper. In a large bowl mix together the oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In a separate bowl mix together the coconut oil, egg, vanilla and stir in the maple syrup. Next, add the wet mix to the dry mix and stir till combined. Take a tbsp amount of the cookie dough, roll it into a ball and place on your baking tray, use a fork to pat down. do this with the remainder of the cookie dough and bake for 9- 12 minutes until cookies are golden brown in color. Leave to cool on a wire rack before serving.
