Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is having a great week!! I’m getting into the holiday spirit in the kitchen with some Christmas treats, this is my practice time!! This is the start of my Christmas baking series!! I get to test out all these recipes to see which ones will be on the menu as Christmas Eve and Christmas day treats for the fam!! This recipe is so yummy!! they just went to fast I really should have made a bigger batch!! lol, they didn’t last very long!!

There chocolate chip cream cheese cookies!! What’s great about these is there really simple to make with few ingredients, you can whip them up fast and you don’t have to be a great baker to do these its really simple. I’m going to go through the ingredients and the how to’s below, I hope you enjoy this first installment of my Christmas treats series and give this a go yourself!!

All You Need:

• 1 cup of oats (blended)
• 1/8 tsp salt
• ¼  tsp baking soda
• 2-5 tbsp chocolate chips
• ¼ cup Xylitol sugar
• 3 tbsp cream cheese
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tbsp coconut oil

Start by preheating your oven to 180℃ and prepare your baking trays with baking paper and set aside.

In a large bowl mix together the oats, salt, baking soda, sugar, and chocolate chips. In a small bowl stir together the cream cheese, vanilla, and coconut oil.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir till combined and forms a dough.

Take a tablespoon amount of the dough and roll it into a ball, place it on your baking tray and pat down with a fork, do this with the remainder of the cookie dough. Bake in the oven for 8- 10 minutes till the cookies are golden in color. Place on a wire rack to cool before serving.
