clean healthy baking! oatmeal cookies!!

Hi, all welcome back to my blog I hope everyone is having a great week, Iv been doing so great with my clean eating lifestyle I really enjoy baking these clean healthy recipes. I’m known for making oatmeal cookies with chocolate so I dug out my recipes and make some adjustments and subbed in some of the different ingredients I’ve been using lately and they turned out amazing!! everyone is loving my sugar-free version in the house! So I’m going to go through the ingredients with you below and the how-to so you can give it a try.


All you need:

  • ¾ cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup oats
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 large egg
  • ¾ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

How to:

Start by preheating your over to 180℃ and prepare your cookie tray with baking paper.   In a large bowl stir together the oats, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In a separate bowl mix together the coconut oil, egg, and vanilla, next add the dry mixture to the wet and stir till combined fold in the chocolate chips, if the mixture is to dry you can add water to get it to your desired consistency.

Take a tbsp amount of the dough and roll it into a ball and place on your baking tray use a fork to flatten out, do this with the remainder of the cookie dough, baking in the oven for 15 minutes till cookies are golden in color, leave to cool on a rack before serving!
