Darkness into light
On Saturday may 6th 2017 @4:15 am I’ll be participating in my first darkness into light walk in aid of Pieta house. Pieta house is a self-harm and suicide crisis centre.The fundraising keeps the pieta house doors open and saves lives. Beginning at 4;15 am in the dark walking the 5km as dawn breaks
I decided i wanted to be a part of this event because of my own experience struggling with my mental health and the dark places it can take you, I know with out the services provided by organisations like pieta house I would not be where I am today.
It’s an incredible organisation that raises awareness and saves lives.Pieta house provides free services for people who are in suicidal distress and/or are engaging in self-harm.
