Citrix Receiverからの移行は済んでいますか？なんて、何年前のトピックだよ！という指摘をもらいそうですが、洗練されたUIと操作性はデモ映えする一方、Citrix Receiverは毎日の私の業務の支えでした。
あれから数年、その目的と構成は変わらないままCitrix Workspace appに名前が変わり、新しい機能が追加され、Citrixプラットフォーム上でセキュアなアクセスを行うすべてのサービスへの入口として大きく進化しています。

改めて、Workspace appの特徴を整理しましょう。

• 業務に必要なアプリケーション、デスクトップ、データに、あらゆるデバイスから即座にアクセス
• 以下への共通のアクセスポータル：
  • 画面転送による仮想アプリケーション＆デスクトップ（VAD/DaaS）

新しいツールバー（Desktop Viewer Toolbar）
デスクトップ画面上を移動可能、洗練されたインターフェイスと拡張されたユーザーコントロールにより、ユーザーはデスクトップ環境設定、切断、サインアウト、パスワード変更などのクイックアクションを実行できます。
管理者はグローバルアプリケーション構成サービス（GACS）を通じて、ユーザーに表示されるツールバーコントロールをカスタマイズすることができます。

接続強度インディケーター（Connection Strength Indicator）
ツールバーの「接続」をクリックして、ユーザーは接続状況を容易に把握し、問題を自己解決可能になり、ヘルプデスクへの問い合わせが減ります。この機能は、ユーザーデバイスからVirtual Delivery Agent（VDA）までのエンドツーエンドの接続状況を、その間のネットワークサービスも含めてリアルタイムで把握できます。VDAにエージェントを追加する必要はありません。
接続状況の詳細をダウンロードやコピーしてチャット、メールでヘルプデスクへ送信できるので、担当は状況をすぐに理解し問題解決までの時間が短縮されます。これは便利。

今回は前回のPart1に続き、Google 社の Chromebook と、当社の Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Standard for Azure を利用し、コストを抑えながら快適で安全なリモートワーク環境をユーザーに提供するため、その構成方法、ノウハウなどをお伝えしたいと思います。

Part2では実際にこちらの構成を導入するためのステップ、導入のノウハウなどを紹介していきます。

◆ 低コストかつ短期間で導入可能な使いやすいリモートワーク環境の構成（前回のおさらい）

前回のPart1でもご紹介しましたが、この構成のポイントは接続先が既存の物理PCであるため、いつもと同じ業務環境にリモートからアクセスできることです。リモートワーク用に新しく仮想デスクトップ環境を構成するといったコスト、時間を節約することができ、ユーザーも自分がいつも利用していたPC環境を利用できるため使いやすく、リモートワーク移行時にありがちな業務効率性の低下を減らす効果が期待できます。

また、接続元のデバイスにセキュリティ、可用性、コストパフォーマンスに優れたデバイスChromebookを用いることで、高セキュリティかつ快適なリモートワーク環境をユーザーに提供できます。

このBlogを読んでいただいている企業さまの中には、従業員に支給しているパソコンをよりセキュアに利用させるため、証明書を内蔵したスマートカードを使って、支給パソコンのWindowsへログオンを行っている、というケースがあるかと思います。

万が一パソコンが第三者の手に渡ったとしても、社員が携帯する物理的なスマートカードを挿入しない限りWindowsへのログオンができないため、IDとパスワードを使った認証方式より更に強固なセキュリティが期待できる仕組みです。

実際にユーザーがWindowsへログオンを行うときは、物理カードを挿入した上で、予め設定を行ったPINの入力を行うことで、パソコンを利用することが可能となります。

今回のBlogでは、Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops環境において、そのようなスマートカードを利用したシングルサインオン（パススルー認証）について整理していきます。

まず、CitrixのVirtual Apps and Desktopsによる仮想化環境を導入した場合、ユーザーによる認証作業は一般的に以下の3回必要です。

1回目：クライアント端末(パソコン)へのログオン

2回目：

I.社内ネットワークからアクセスする場合：StoreFrontへのログオン

II.社外ネットワークからアクセスする場合：Citrix Gatewayへのログオン

3回目：仮想リソースを起動する際に行われる、仮想側Windowsへのログオン

※2回目の認証の際、アクセス元が社内ネットワーク経由か社外ネットワーク経由かによって、アクセスして認証を行うコンポーネントが異なります。本Blogではパススルー認証の検証を行うのが趣旨であり、社内ネットワークからのアクセスを前提としているため、シンプルなStoreFrontの構成を採用します。そのためCitrix Gatewayは対象外です。

これら３回のログオンを毎回ユーザーが手動で行うのは煩雑となるため、クライアント端末へのログオンを一度行うだけで、あとの2回目、3回目の認証は不要とする、パススルー認証を実現することが理想です。

また、Windowsのログオンにスマートカードを利用するために、Active Directoryのユーザープロパティーの設定で「対話型ログオン時にはスマートカードが必要」を有効としている場合があります。このときCitrixの仮想デスクトップや仮想アプリケーション(以下、仮想リソース)をユーザーが起動して利用する際の3回目の認証にもスマートカードが必要となる点が特に考慮すべきポイントとなります。

ここまでに記載した考慮点を踏まえて、スマートカードをご利用になる環境ではシングルサインオンとしての「パススルー認証」をどのように実現できるのか、検証結果をまとめていきます。

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktopsでは、言語やプラットフォームなど、ユーザーやIT管理者の要件に対応するために、キーボードや入力システム（IME）に関連する豊富な構成が提供されています。ただし、Citrix WorkspaceアプリのさまざまなクライアントやOSプラットフォームなどの要因により、キーボードとIMEを正しく構成することが難しい場合があります。

この記事では、さまざまな展開シナリオに従ってキーボードとIMEを正しく構成する方法について説明します。「キーボード」という用語は、「キーボードレイアウト」のほか、101キーボード、103キーボード、106キーボードなどの物理キーボードにも使用していますので注意してください。

キーボード同期モード

Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktopsは、クライアント側のキーボードとVDA側のキーボードの両方をサポートしています。よくある問題が1つありますが、それは何でしょうか？それは、どちら側のキーボードが適用されるかという問題です。基本的なルールは次のとおりです：

1. クライアントがWindows向けCitrix Workspaceアプリの場合、VDA側のキーボードが適用されます。
2. クライアントがWindows以外（Mac、Linux、iOS、またはAndroid）のCitrix Workspaceアプリの場合、クライアント側のキーボードが適用されます。
3. ルール#1または#2が機能しない場合、構成が正しくないか、Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktopsがそのタイプのシナリオをサポートしていない可能性があります。このような場合は、 Citrixカスタマーサービスにお問い合わせください。
