Citrix Cloud SummitではCitrixのデイビッド・ヘンシェル（David Henshall）CEOからハイブリッド、マルチクラウド環境におけるイノベーションの概要をお伝えし、企業が業務を安全に、また一貫して進めるのに必要な手段を提供する、ハイブリッドおよびマルチクラウドモデルに対するCitrixのサポートをご紹介しました。

クラウド戦略に欠かせない「移行」「自動化」「最適化」これらの3つ分野でのCitrixによる新たなイノベーションやパートナーシップへの投資により、お客様が安心して独自のクラウド戦略を追求できるようになります。

お客様のクラウド移行を加速する

企業のIT部門は過去数年にわたり、拡張性、柔軟性、およびコスト削減を目的として、アプリケーションのワークロードのクラウド移行に取り組んできました。新型コロナウイルスの世界的な感染拡大で、状況は一変しました。クラウドは働くすべての人にとって重要なものとなりました。

コロナ禍、クラウド化への加速に拍車がかかり、クラウド移行に必要な時間は数か月、場合によっては数週間にまで短縮されました。オンプレミスだけで業務を行っている企業にとって、これは安全ネットが無い「綱渡り」のようにも感じられます。しかしハイブリッド型クラウドのインフラストラクチャを持つ企業は、単にオンプレミスに置かれているものをクラウドに移行するだけでクラウド化に対応できました。

具体的には、Citrixはお客様が（ひとつまたは複数の）クラウドを選択し、迅速に移行し、あらゆる場所とあらゆるインフラストラクチャにおいてワークロードを管理し、またオンプレミスのリソースを最大限に活用できるよう拡張性に注力してきました。またクラウド環境にもオンプレミスと同様な安全を確保するためセキュリティを最優先しています。さらにエンドユーザーに優れた使用エクスペリエンスを提供するため、信頼性とパフォーマンスも重視しています。

さらに、Citrixはお客様に最大限の選択肢を提供することを常に行動規範としてきました。Citrixのソリューションではワークロードの一部をオンプレミスで、一部をAWSかGoogleで、またさらに一部はAzure上で実行できるようにすることで、お客様のニーズに合わせ柔軟な対応が可能です。

Citrixは共有される仮想プライベートクラウドと自動化された移行ツールを含め、Google Cloudのための新しい機能を提供しています。これらの新しい機能によって仮想アプリケーションとデスクトップワークロードのGoogle Cloudへの移行やインスタンス起動が容易に行えるようになり、またそれらのコントロールとセキュリティ機能の最大限の活用が可能となります。
